Pre-completion Sound Testing

We are accredited through the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) to carry out Sound Testing to demonstrate compliance with Part E of the Building Regulations.

We have six registed testers who operate throughout the UK on a wide range of developments from a single test on a small extension through to large scale developments of over 1000 new dwellings.

Our equipment and techniques are optimized for very fast and cost-effective testing and we can work around other trades operating on site so minimising disruption and down-time costs.

Our services include:

• Preparing test schedules in accordance with Part E and/or CFSH (Code for Sustainable Homes)
• Liaison with Building Inspectors
• On-site tests carried out quickly with minimal disruption
• Tests undertaken outside of normal working hours (where required) at no additional cost
• Quick turnaround of results / reports / certificates - same day service where required
• Remedial advice in the case of failed tests. Where the problem is obvious then there is no charge for this advice. For complicated cases where the cause of failure is not clear then full consultancy services are available

Following the introduction of the regulations in 2003 we have carried out over 15,000 sound tests throughout the country for a wide range of clients from private builders to national and regional house builders.
