Chris advises on a wide variety of projects and also manages many of the internal teams of acousticians that we bring together to handle large projects. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), holds an MSc in Environmental and Architectural Acoustics, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control from the UK Institute of Acoustics (IOA). Chris's experience includes noise and vibration assessments for a range of residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure developments on behalf of a wide range of public and private sector clients.
Of particular interest is working with clients on large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects and he presented a paper at Acoustics 2012 in Hong Kong on large-scale industrial noise management. Chris spent a few years working in Australia on large industrial projects including road upgrades, mine and quarrying expansions, new ports and new industrial facilities. Outside work, Chris is a keen cyclist and a terrible golfer.
