We carried out vibration monitoring at a storage facility for collection items from both the British Museum and the London Science Museum. Construction work was being carried out directly outside the storage facility.

During our involvement, we liaised with the museum’s Conservation Officer to monitor whether the construction work had potential to damage the items in storage.

We set vibration limits before the work started and contacted site whenever the limit was exceeded. Cass Allen Associates are pleased to confirm that no damage was caused to any of the items in storage.
