Combined Premier Inn & Data Centre – Ealing

Client: Mace Group
Architects: MAA Architects
Services Consultant: Hurley Palmer Flatt

Scope: Our involvement with this project started at the outline planning stage and lasted for five years through discharge of planning conditions, detailed acoustic design, construction and commissioning. The juxtaposition of a noisy data centre and a hotel which prides itself on providing a good night’s sleep caused a few acoustic design headaches, but commissioning tests have shown that the insulation between the two uses is performing exactly as designed.
